Of all the components of your Amateur Radio Station, either it be your home QTH, mobile installation or even a Hand Held Talkie, the Antenna is the one most important piece of Amateur Radio Gear! You can have the fanciest, most expensive Ham Radio Transceiver sitting on your desk or mounted under the dash of your car, but if you're using an antenna that's about as effective as a Dummy Load, you're really not going to be very successful at making contacts. I urge you to investigate the proper antenna installations at your QTH. Even Stealth Antennas can be very effective.
